In collaboration with Sauce Dubai, Rana Salam Studio was invited to participate in a re-interpretation of the iconic Kartell Bourgie lamp. The studio’s fun re-styling of the lamp includes a flight of butterflies cut out of plexi, her own iconic graphics and, in a kitsch twist, a single found object from a shop in Sharjah of the hand of Hatima hung amidst it all. The lamps were sold to raise funds for charities. Other international designers and celebrities invited to re-interpret the lamp include Bokja, Nada Debs, Bokja and Nadine Kanso.
